Lake Forest, CA - Orange County FC 2 earned a hard fought victory over Gremio FC San Diego on October 21 at Lake Forest Sports Complex.

Gremio FC did not look anything like the team that endured an eleven-goal thrashing earlier this season and held OCFC 2 scoreless in the first half.

The club based in San Diego began the second half as the better side but OCFC 2 regrouped and set the tone when Cody Shelton finished off a cross from Kley Bejarano in the 59th minute to put OCFC 2 in front 1-0.

Twelve minutes later Shelton scored his second of the night to make the game safe for OCFC 2.

Next up for OCFC 2 is a match with Newcastle United FC on October 28.
