ocfc 2 overcome halftime deficit to win 2-1

Bell Gardens, CA - Orange County FC 2 was on the road for its fourth game of the UPSL Fall Season and they immediately knew they would have a tough task on their hands having to play against win-less Bell Gardens FC.

The home side got off to the better start and Bell Gardens took a 1-0 lead twenty minutes into the match.

This was a new feeling for Paul Caligiuri and OCFC 2 as it was their first time conceding the first goal of match as members of the UPSL.

Five minutes after the restart OCFC 2 tied up the score when newcomer Cesar Pineda found the back of the net.

OCFC 2 pushed hard for the go-ahead goal but they had to wait until the last minutes when striker Cody Shelton scored the game winning goal in the 87th minute.

Captain Alex Ferreira was unavailable but leading scorer Jonny Romero filled in as captain and OCFC 2 earned a vital win.

The victory for OCFC 2 is their second of the season but everyone knows that wins don't come easy in the UPSL Pro Premier.

OCFC 2 now have two wins, one draw, and one loss on the season and next up is a home fixture against Valley United on October 28th.
