San Diego, CA – OCFC 2 continued its hot streak with an impressive 6-3 road victory over San Diego Zest FC 2 on Sunday afternoon.

Four consecutive wins has OCFC 2 feeling confident and Dakota Collins continued his excellent form with a hat-trick to increase his goal scoring tally to six in only three games played.

Collins has an impressive resume that includes stints with Sacramento Republic of the United Soccer League and a spell in Croatia’s third tier with NK Hask.

Assistant coach Cyrus Navabpour describes Collins as a utility player who can play as a lone striker, attacking midfielder, or winger.

Collins is now tied with captain Jonny Romero for the team lead in goals.

Romero scored from the penalty spot on Sunday afternoon but likely will not be available for OCFC 2's upcoming game due to being sent off late in the match after receiving a second yellow card.

Sam Merritt and Mark Garcia added the other two goals in the 6-3 victory to improve OCFC 2’s record to five wins, one draw, and one loss in the 2017 UPSL Fall Season.

OCFC 2 currently has sixteen points in the Pro Premier Standings and sits in the third position.

Next up is a match against Anaheim Legacy on Saturday night at Lake Forest Sports Park.
